The Virginian-Pilot, Tuesday, February 3, 1987

NORFOLK - Mildred B. Jordan, of the 1000 block of Billings St., a retired
schoolteacher, died January 31, 1987, in a hospital.

Mrs. Jordan, a Norfolk native, retired from Norfolk schools after 50 years. She was
a member of St. John AME Church.

She is survived by three nieces, including Ethelyn Anthony and Evelyn Johnson, both
of Norfolk.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. John AME Church by the Rev.
I.W. Knight. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The body will be placed in the
church at 9:30 a.m. by Graves Funeral Home. The family will be meet at the
residence.
