                                  DEATHS
Rufus Stockley Jordan, aged 52, died yesterday morning at a local hospital. His 
home was in Princess Anne County. He was a native of North Carolina, and is 
survived by his wife, Mrs. Sophia McClannan Jordan, of Princess Anne County; two 
sons, Waverly R. Jordan, of Norfolk, and Rufus Stockley Jordan, Jr., of Princess 
Anne County; a sister, Mrs. M. J. Murray, of Crocket, Cal., ; and one brother, J. 
E. Jordan, of Powellsville, N.C. The body will be taken to the Salem M. E. Church, 
Princess Anne County, for funeral services this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, to be 
conducted by the Rev. J. T. Mills. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk.
