NORFOLK - Mrs. Jessie Mae Jordan of 869 Fremont St. died Friday November 7 in
her home.

A native of Norfolk, she was the wife of John L. Jordan and a daughter of Mrs.
Ollie N. and John E. Highter.  She was a Baptist.

Survivors include a son, Nathan L. Jordan of Norfolk;  two sisters, Mrs. Ollie
D. Butts of Norfolk and Mrs. Gertrude Ashburn of Trenton NJ;  and six brothers,
Nazareth Highter, Cordia Highter, Alexander Highter, Clarence Highter, Alfred
Highter and Arthur Highter, all of Norfolk. 
Hale Funeral Home had charge.
