The deceased was a brother of Messrs. Amos P. Jordan and Samuel F. Jordan and leaves a wife and eight children. He was a Confederate veteran and served in the Sewell's Point Cavalry. Mr. Jordan was 67 years old. The funeral will take place at 4 o'clock today from the residence. ***************************************************************************** Funeral of Mr. Edward Jordan Rev. J.T. Mastin, of McKendree M.E. Church, yesterday afternoon preached the funeral of Mr. Edward Jordan, who died suddenly Tuesday at his residence on Scott Avenue. The funeral was at the house and the interment in Elmwood.
