Virginian Pilot September 5, 1903

Mrs. Margaret A. Jordan, relict of the late Joseph C. Jordan, died yesterday 
morning at an early hour at her home, 111 Avenue A, aged 66 years. She is 
survived by a daughter and one son, Mrs. Ida L. Davis and Mr. Robert T. Gordon, 
both of Norfolk. The funeral will be held from LeKies Memorial Methodist Church 
at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon.

The funeral of Mrs. Margarete A. Jordan, relict of the late Joseph C. Jordan, 
was solemnized from LeKies Memorial Methodist Church Sunday afternoon at 3 
o'clock, the pastor, Rev. J.W. Stiff, officiating. The interment was in Elmwood 
Cemetery. Following were the pallbearers: Messrs. Frank Colenda, James 
Shumadine, Richard Hitchings, P.J. Allbright, John Pritchard and Richard 
Pebworth.
