Final rites for Mrs. Sevora Jordan were held March 5 at the Mother Church of God
in Christ by the pastor, Bishop D. Lawrence Williams.

She was a native of Hertford County, NC, and had lived in Norfolk 43 years. She
died Feb. 17 at her residence, 1763 Campostella road, at the age of 70.

An active church worker, she was a teacher of the Sunshine Band and a member of
the Decoration club. She is survived by two grandsons, Wiley Camp, and James H.
Benns; two granddaughters, Mrs. Edna M. Walker and Miss Ruth Camp.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, with Riddick Funeral Service in charge.
