Virginian Pilot Thursday December 27, 1906

The funeral of Robert Jordan who died Monday afternoon at his home, 209 Lee 
street, was conducted from the residence yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock.  
Rev. V.W. Bargamin, pastor of Liberty Street M.E. Church, conducted the 
funeral services and the interment was in Magnolia Cemetery.
The deceased was 46 years old and is survived by several small children.  He 
was a native of Southampton County but had been residing here for the past 
three years.
