Virginian-Pilot February 9, 1884
JORDAN – At St. Vincent de Paul Hospital, Friday morning, JAMES D. JORDAN, in the 
25th year of his age. His funeral will take place from St. Mary’s church at 10 
o'clock THIS (Saturday) MORNING. The friends and acquaintances of the family are 
respectfully invited without further notice.

Additional Comments:
There is a discrepancy between the obituary and the tombstone in his middle 
initial.
