Virginian-Pilot May 22, 1960
JORDAN, LEWIS CARROLL - At a local hospital, Friday, May 20th, 1960, at 6 p.m., 
LEWIS CARROLL, husband of Mrs. Beverly Hosier Jordan and son of Mrs. Margaret Anne 
Burke Jordan and the late Harry James Jordan, in the 58th year of his age. Remains 
will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, to 
Sacred Heart Catholic Church for services Monday at 10 a.m. Friends of the family 
are invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
