Virginian Pilot May 7, 1991

Edward Boyd Jordan, 72, of the 4900 block of Park Ave., a retired senior claims 
representative, died April 17, 1991, in his home.
Mr. Jordan, a native of Norfolk, had retired from The Travelers Insurance Co. He 
was the district adjustor with the insurance office in Norfolk for many years 
before he transferred to Richmond. He was a graduate of the University of 
Cincinnati with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He was a former 
officer and longtime member of the National Railway Historical Society, Old 
Dominion chapter. He was also a member of the Virginia Museum of the Fine Arts 
and was an Episcopalian.
The graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Elmwood Cemetery, 
Norfolk. Friends may gather at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive 
Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday.
Memorial donations may be made to the SPCA.
