 The Virginian Pilot Wednesday August 29, 1962
Mrs. Grace Henrietta Joyner, widow of Andrew J. Joyner and daughter of 
William and Mrs. Frances Adelaide Buchanan Pfeil, died in a Harrisonburg 
hospital Monday.
Mrs. Joyner was a native of Norfolk and lived in Washington, D.C., many 
years before moving to Harrisonburg.
She is survived by a granddaughter, Mrs. Jacqueline Joyner Sykes, Norfolk, 
and three great-granddaughters, Miss Catherine Sykes, Miss Patricia Sykes, 
and Miss Margaret Ann Sykes, all of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be conducted in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Thursday 
at 3 p.m. by the Rev. Howard C. Cobbs of Harrisonburg. Burial will be in 
Cedar Grove Cemetery.
