Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - July 13, 1991

Lenwood Joyner, of the 900 block of Marietta Ave., a retired cement 
finisher, died July 8, 1991, in a hospital.
Mr. Joyner was born in Murfreesboro, N.C., and retired from Leo J. Martone & 
Associates Inc.
Survivors include his wife, Sallie A. Joyner; three daughters, Monica J. 
Griffin, Millicent J. Blanchard and Karen Joyner, all of Norfolk; four 
sisters, Alberta James, Magertha Nixon and Annie Mae Joyner, all of 
Richmond, and Maybelle Joyner of Boston; four brothers, Johnnie Joyner of 
Murfreesboro, Collin Joyner of Baltimore, and Roger Joyner and Stanley 
Joyner, both of Richmond; and 10 grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Riddick Funeral Service 
by the Rev. James Hampton. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Friends may 
join the family at 6249 Alexander St., Apt. 104, and will assemble at the 
funeral home at 10:45 a.m. Monday.
