The Virginian-Pilot, Friday, December 14, 1973

NORFOLK - Mrs. Virginia L. Joyner of 920 Workwood Road, the widow of Kinchen 
Joyner, died Thursday in a hospital.

She was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church and the Angels of Mercy.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Gloria C. Powell of Norfolk.

The body was taken to Citizens Funeral Home.

Additional Comments:
NORFOLK - A funeral service for Mrs. Virginia L. Joyner will be held Tuesday at 
1 p.m. in Mt. Gilead Baptist Church by the Rev. Roy Deans. Burial will be in 
Calvary Cemetery with Citizens Funeral Home in charge.
