Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, June 20, 2007 
NORFOLK - Helen Joyner of the 1200 block of Lead St. died June 17, 2007, in
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. A native of Norfolk, she was the widow of
George E. Joyner.

Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Joyner and Judy Wilkins (John), both of
Norfolk; a son, John Felton of Virginia Beach; mother, Beatrice (Anthony); eight
grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; and a host
of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Carlos A. Howard Funeral Homes,
Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Beatrice Sherrod. Burial will be in Calvary
Cemetery. The remains will be ready for viewing Thursday from 3:30 to 8 p.m. The
family will assemble at the residence at 10 a.m. for the procession.
