Willie Joyner - Funeral services for Willie Joyner, who died Sept. 11 at his 
residence in Crestwood, were held Sept. 14 in Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. 
Mr. Ellison and Rev. Mr. Stringfield officiating, the latter upon the subject, 
“Don’t Touch my Soul.” Mrs. Hattie Spruiell sang a solo and condolences were read 
by Mrs. Outlaw from the community and Mrs. Nellie Woodhouse from friends in 
Campostella. Interment was made in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
