Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, May 21, 2000
Willie ``Ace'' Joyner Jr. of the 1600 block of Lafayette Blvd. died May 17,
2000, at a local hospital.

Mr. Joyner was born in Conway, N.C., was retired from Ford Motor Co. and served
in the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by a sister, Gladys Craft; a brother, Walter Joyner; an aunt,
Jeanette Davis; a sister-in-law, Dolores U. Joyner; a host of cousins, nieces
and nephews and a devoted friend, Dorothy Cooper, all of Norfolk.

A funeral will be held at noon Tuesday at Basilica of St. Mary Catholic Church
by Fr. Walter Barrett. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . A wake service will
be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at Graves Funeral Home.
