JOYNES, in the 61st year of his age. The funeral will take place from the residence FRIDAY, November 24, at 11 o'clock. Friend and acquaintances respectfully invited to attend. *********************************************** Mr. Custis T. Joynes died at his home, No. 219 Granville avenue, Wednesday about ten o'clock p.m. Funeral services will be held at his residence Friday morning at eleven o'clock. Mr. Joynes was in the 61st year of his age. Virginian Pilot November 23, 1905 The funeral of Custis T. Joynes took place from his late residence, No. 219 Granville avenue, Friday morning at 11 o'clock and was largely attended. The services were conducted by Rev. C.L Bane and Rev. R.N. Hartness. Interment in Cedar Grove cemetery. The following were pall-bearers: R. C. Braeden and O'Daniel, citizens; Captain Goodrich, Dr. R.D. Tucker, Robert Broughton and W.R. Fentress, from Pickett Buchanan Camp of Confederate Veterans. There was a large display of floral offerings.
