R. H. Bowling officiating. Mrs. Joynes took seriously ill after a blood transfusion when she attempted to save the life of her sister by giving a pint of her blood. This effort failed and the sister died about three weeks ago. Mrs. Joynes lost strength after her sacrifice and the end came quietly Friday morning. Mrs. Joynes is survived by her husband, two sons, and two sisters.
