Joynes sits today in the shadow of a great sorrow. Yesterday morning their beloved little daughter, Hazel Ellwood, died after a severe illness of a few days and the numerous friends of the bereaved parents feel for them the keenest sympathy, Deceased, who was a child of a most loveable character, had scarcely reached her sixth year when the summons came, yet so beautiful was her life that her demise fills many hearts with pain, It was thought a few days ago that life would be spared her, but God needed her, and at 3:40 o’clock yesterday morning Message came and her spirit returned to the bosom of God who gave it. “The Pale Reaper” reaps the bended grain and the flowers beneath. The funeral will take place from the family residence, 449 Bute Street, this afternoon at 3 o’clock.
