Joynes, died at a local hospital yesterday morning at 6:05 o'clock. She was a daughter of William and Mrs. Mary Dewberry Bennett, was a native of Portsmouth and had lived in Norfolk for the last 60 years. She was a member of the First Methodist Church, and resided at 318 West Twenty-seventh street. Mrs. Joynes is survived by one daughter, Miss Eva B. Joynes, and a number of nieces and nephews, all of Norfolk. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 9:30 o'clock from the funeral home of Ewell & Williamson, 435 Thirty-fifth street. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
