Mrs. Joynt was a native of Ireland and had been a resident of Norfolk for the past 35 years. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. P. S. Grayson; one son, Vincent Joynt; one sister, Mrs. Annie D. Oakes, all of Norfolk; one brother, Owen Dowd, of Brooklyn; five grandchildren, one nephew and several nieces. The body was taken to H. D. Oliver’s funeral apartments, 610-612 East Freemason street, pending funeral arrangements. Mrs. Mary Dowd Joynt - Remains of Mrs. Joynt, widow of Joseph Joynt, whose death occurred Friday at the residence, 813 Reservoir avenue, will be taken from H. D. Oliver’s Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason street, to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, for services tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
