CHARLINA O. CRENSHAW JUSTICE

Our beloved mother, Charlina, departed this life on July 3, 2000, at 3 p.m. at
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She was born in Norfolk on Nov. 24, 1940, to
the late Charles and Gladys King Crenshaw. She was married to Charles J.E.
Justice. She rededicated her life to Christ, was baptized on July 1, 1983, and
became a member of Queen Street Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Booker T.
Washington High School and, later in her life, became a certified nurse and was
employed for 10 years by Sentara.

Survivors include her daughter, Joanna Justice of Norfolk; four sons, Alfred J.
Crenshaw of Las Vegas, Nev., Arnold E. Justice of Los Angeles, Calif., Everette
L. and Gene L. Justice of Norfolk. She was also the legal guardian of Charlina
C. James and Juquia James of Chesapeake. Survivors also include two sisters,
Eloise C. Williams of Chesapeake, Helen Jackson of Port Arthur, Texas; two
brothers, Charles Crenshaw of Norfolk and retired Col. Chauncey Crenshaw of
Alexandria, Va.; her maternal aunt, Lena King Heidelberg; two granddaughters,
Brianna J. and Brittany N. Rodriguez-Crenshaw; a grandson, Taeshawn L. Boone;
and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and co-workers.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Graves Funeral Home. Burial
will be in Calvary Cemetery . The family will assemble at the residence the day
of the service.
