Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark December 6, 1920

Mrs. Mattie Nash Kabler, widow of Rev. J.H. Kabler, a Methodist minister, died in 
Norfolk, Saturday night at 7:45 o'clock, after a long illness, age 77 years. She 
leaves a son, W.L. Kabler, of Richmond, and a niece, Mrs. W.W. Silvester, of 
Norfolk. The funeral will take place this afternoon at 12:30 o'clock, at H.D. 
Oliver's Funeral Apartments, East Freemason Street, the services to be conducted 
by Rev. H.C. Pfeiffer, pastor of Epworth Methodist Church. Burial will be in 
Elmwood Cemetery.
