Norfolk Virginian Pilot January 25, 1942

Beshara George Kal, aged 60, husband of Mrs. Frances Habib Kal, a native of 
Beirut, Syria, and a resident of Norfolk for the past 26 years, died at 11:45 
o'clock Friday night at the residence, 1028 West Thirty-fifth Street. Besides 
his wife, Mrs. Frances Habib Kal, he is survived by one son, Elias B. Kal, of 
Norfolk; four daughters, Mrs. E.G. Christianson, of Oakland, Calif. and Misses 
Josephine, Elizabeth and Victoria Kal, all of Norfolk.
Services will be held at the chapel of the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 
Colonial Avenue, this afternoon at 4 o'clock, with the Rev. Charles B. Upson, of 
Christ and St. Luke's Church, officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
