The Norfolk Virginian Pilot August 4, 1939
Miss Daisy Lee Karn, daughter of the late Joseph Henry and Mrs. Sallie Warren 
Karn, a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, died yesterday afternoon at 
2:50 o'clock at the residence, 635 Delaware avenue, Colonial Place. She is 
survived by one sister, Miss Lillie V. Karn, of Norfolk, and one brother, 
Albert Sidney Karn, of Baltimore, Md. Services will be held at the chapel of 
the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, with 
the Rev. C. M. Gordon, D. D., pastor of the First Christian Church (Disciples), 
of which Miss Karn was for many years a member, officiating. Interment will be 
in Elmwood Cemetery.
