Cecilia Frances Pirrone Kaukas, 73, of the 1000 block of Woronoca Ave., a 
homemaker, died Sept. 28, 1993, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Kaukas was born in Norfolk and was a Roman Catholic.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Kaukas; one son, Ron Byrd of San Diego, 
Calif.; five sisters, Santina Casey of Ocala, Fla., Connie Sheehan of Farmington, 
Conn., Josephine Tole of Norfolk, Marie Pirrone of Richmond and Phyllis Kordos of 
Buffalo, N.Y.; two brothers, Lawrence Pirrone and Baptista Pirrone, both of 
Virginia Beach; and four grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 
Tidewater Drive Chapel, by Chaplain Robert J. McEleney. Burial will be in St. 
Mary's Catholic Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home from 6:30 to 7:30 
p.m. today and at 8029 Lynnbrook Drive, Norfolk, following the services.
