Miss Alice Christina Kavanaugh - Miss Alice Christina Kavanaugh, daughter of the 
late Brian and Mary Gaul Kavanaugh, died yesterday afternoon at 12:30 o’clock at a 
local hospital. She was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk. Surviving her 
are three sisters, Mrs. Ellen Mee, Mrs. Martin J. Ryan, and Miss Mary Kavanaugh; 
two nieces, Miss Elizabeth Ryan, and Mrs. A. W. Jacocks, two nephews, W. B. and E. 
J. Ryan. Remains will be taken from H. D. Oliver’s Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East 
Freemason street, to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, for services tomorrow morning at 
10 o’clock. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
