Virginian-Pilot  March 30, 1927
Edward P. Kavanaugh, aged 63, son of the late Brian and Mary Kavanaugh, and a 
native and life-long resident of Norfolk, died yesterday afternoon at 12:15 
o’clock at a local hospital. Surviving him are four sisters, Mrs. Ellen Mee, Mrs. 
Martin J. Ryan, the Misses Mary and Christine Kavanaugh, and several nieces and 
nephews, all of Norfolk. The body will be taken from H. D. Oliver’s funeral 
apartments, 610-12 East Freemason street, to St. Mary’s Catholic Church for 
services tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
