Virginian-Pilot  May 8, 1938
Andrew Kayatt, age 63 years, husband of Mrs. Mary A. Kayatt, died at 3:10 o’clock 
yesterday morning at the residence, 1082 West Forty-second street. Mr. Kayatt was 
a native of Syria and had been a resident of Norfolk for the past 45 years. 
Besides his wife. Mrs. Mary A. Kayatt, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. 
George Abraham, of Richmond, Va., and Mrs. Thomas Zoby, of Norfolk; nine 
grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Joseph Zoby, of Norfolk, and a number of nieces 
and nephews.
Funeral services at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, tomorrow morning at 10 
o’clock. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. A Rosary service will be 
conducted at the residence at 8 o’clock tonight.
