Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark November 11, 1915

Mrs. Sallie Kayatt, widow of Elias Kayatt, died at 10:30 o'clock Tuesday night 
at the family residence, 1030 W. Forty-second Street, after a protracted 
illness, aged 59 years. Mrs. Kayatt was a native of Syria and had lived in 
Norfolk 28 years and was highly esteemed. She is survived by a son, A. Kayatt, 
and three daughters, Mrs. A. Eardley, Mrs. J. Zoby and Mrs. Rosa Assea, all of 
Norfolk. The funeral will take place at 1 o'clock this afternoon at St. Francis' 
Catholic Chapel, Lambert's Point. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

KAYATT - At the residence, No. 1030 W. 42d street, Tuesday, November 9, 1915, at 
10:30 o’clock p.m., SALLIE KAYATT, widow of Elias Kayatt, aged 59 years.
Funeral services at St. Francis de Sales Catholic church (Lamberts Point) 
THURSDAY AFTERNOON at 1 o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend.
