Gwendolyn P. Kean, 75, of the 400 block of Virginian Drive, a retired clerk, died 
Sept. 18, 1991, in her home.

Mrs. Kean was born in Petersburg. She had retired from the Naval Supply Center 
after 29 years. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and DePaul 
Hospital Auxiliary. She was the widow of Theodore F. Kean.

Survivors include two daughters, Constance L. Kean of Norfolk and Judith K. Dixon 
of Chesapeake; a sister, Irene P. Shiflet of Virginia Beach; seven grandchildren 
and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday in Blessed Sacrament 
Catholic Church by the Rev. Julian B. Goodman. Burial will be in St. Mary's 
Catholic Cemetery. A Christian wake service will be at 7 p.m. today in H.D. Oliver 
Funeral Apartments, Norfolk.

Memorial donations may be made to the church.
