Virginian-Pilot  June 15, 1944
Miss Annie Keane, 81, daughter of the late John and Mrs. Julia Keane, a native of 
Ireland and a resident of Virginia Beach for the past four years, died yesterday 
morning at 7:25 o’clock at the residence, 203 Thirty-sixth street, Virginia Beach. 
Surviving her are a niece, Mrs. Patricia G. Devlin, of Virginia Beach, and several 
other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Star of the Sea 
Catholic Church, Virginia Beach, Friday morning at 10 o’clock with the Rev. P. P. 
Brennan, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Norfolk. 
Rosary services will be held at the residence tonight at 8 o’clock.
