Keefe, aged 60, died at a local hospital at 7:45 o'clock last night after a brief illness. He was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk. He is survived by his wife, four sons, Ballard R., Gordon, George W. Keefe, Jr., all of Norfolk and Walter Keefe, of Springfield, Mo.; and seven grandchildren. He was secretary and treasurer of the local chapter of the Cigar Makers' Union. Funeral arrangements had not been completed last night. Contributor comment NOTE: Son is George Edward, not George W. Jr ******************************************************** George W, Keefe - Funeral services for Mr. Keefe, who died Monday in a local hospital, will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the Tabernacle Baptist Church by the Rev. James T, Riddick, pastor. Members of Harmony Lodge, I.O.O.F., will attend in a body. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. The body now is at the funeral home of L.L. Williams, 3401 Granby street.
