Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, March 10, 1999 
Emma D. Keefe , 81, of the 4500 block of Princess Anne Road, passed away on
March 8, 1999.

Mrs. Keefe was born in Durham, N.C., and was the widow of Ballard R. Keefe Jr. A
homemaker, she was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. A very
active member of Lafayette Presbyterian Church, she played piano for her Sunday
school class. She was a former longtime resident of Norview Avenue in Norfolk.

She will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Eva K. Little and Bonnie K.
Propster, both of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Claudia Holderfield of Suffolk,
Laura Smith and Mary Hienz, both of Norfolk; seven grandchildren, Bobby Little
Jr. of Raleigh, N.C., Lynda Poole and Renee Caffee, both of Chesapeake, Kelley
Little, Shelley Warren, Robert Propster Jr. and Randy Propster, all of Virginia
Beach; five great-grandchildren, Bobby Little III and Barry Little, both of
Raleigh, N.C., Jeremy Poole and Nathan Poole, both of Chesapeake, and Matthew
Propster of Virginia Beach.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by
the Rev. Max G. Culler. Friends may join the family at Smith & Williams Funeral
Home, Kempsville Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers, the family
requests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Disease &
Related Disorders Association, No. 20 Koger Center, Norfolk, Va. 23502.
