Virginian Pilot May 23, 1991

Ernest N. Keeling Sr., of the 1500 block of Monsterado Place, a laborer, died 
May 21, 1991, in a hospital.

Mr. Keeling, a native of Edenton, N.C., was the widower of Odessa V. Keeling. He 
was employed by the cork plant. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include four daughters, Elsie V. Brown, Odessa Stancil, Margaret 
Keeling, and Bertha Ninimo, all of Norfolk; three sons, James A. Keeling of 
Chesapeake, Ernest N. Keeling Jr. of Virginia Beach, and Wilbert A. Keeling of 
Camden, N.J.; and 37 grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Friday in Magnolia Cemetery 
by the Rev. Joseph Lassiter. Family and Friends will assemble at the 
Metropolitan Funeral Home at 3 p.m. for the funeral procession.
