Keeling, Esq., aged about seven years, while at play with another little boy on Main Street, in front of the China store of Messrs. Phillips & Co., accidently fell on the curb stone and received an internal injury, which, we regret to say resulted fatally. He lingered patiently till Saturday, when death came to the innocent sufferer's relief. He was a child of extraordinary promise, exciting the brightest and fondest hopes of his parents. Remarkably intelligent for his age, affable in manner, and obliging in disposition, he had attraced the attention and gained the affection of others besides those of the now bereaved household where he was nurtured and trained. A beautiful flower has been withered-aye, an early spring bud, as it were, has wilted suddenly, just in the "strange beauty" of its opening charms-but to bloom again in eternal youth and unfading glory. "The dead shall be rasied."
