Norfolk Virginian March 3, 1888

KEELING - At the residence of her husband on York Street, on Friday morning, 
March 2nd, BETTIE UPSHUR, wife of John P. Keeling, and sister of the late 
Capt. C.L. Upshur.
Funeral from St. Paul's Church SUNDAY, March 4th, at 3:30 o'clock p.m.

The funeral of Mrs. Bettie Upshur Keeling, took place from St. Paul's P.E. 
Church Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, and was largely attended.  Rev. 
B.D. Tucker conducted the funeral services, after which the remains were 
conveyed to Elmwood Cemetery and interred.  The following gentlemen acted as 
pallbearers:  Judge T.S. Garnett, Col. J.J. Phillips, Capt. Edward M. Henry, 
Messrs. Frank Henry, S.S. Nottingham, W.N. Portlock, George Wilson and 
Waverly Berkley.
