Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, November 6, 1997 
Viola Ella Keeling, 94, a resident at Lynn Shores Manor, died Nov. 4, 1997, in
her residence.

She was born in Norfolk and had retired as a beautician after 25 years of
service. She was a member of First Calvary Baptist Church, Norfolk, where she
participated in the Usher Board and Missionary Circle.

Survivors include a great niece, Margaret A. Watson of Virginia Beach; three
great-nephews, George C. Askew Sr. of Chesapeake, William E. Askew and Robert L.
Askew, both of Norfolk; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in First Calvary Baptist Church,
Norfolk, by Dr. J.L. White Sr. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Hale Funeral
Home is in charge. Family and friends will assemble at the residence in Virginia
Beach at 10 a.m. Saturday for the procession. The remains will be placed in the
church at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
