The Norfolk Virginian Pilot June 10, 1938


Miss Roberta Virginia Keeling, daughter of the late Henry F. and Mrs. Fanny J. 
Keeling, died yesterday at 1:30 o'clock at a local hospital after an illness of 
12 months. She was born in Princess Anne County, and had resided in Norfolk a 
number of years. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas and Mary Seymour Keeling 
of Princess Anne County and her paternal grandparents were Henry F. and Mrs. 
Fanny Wilson Keeling, of Norfolk County. She is survived only by a sister, Miss 
Lucy G. Keeling, principal of the Frances E. Willard School, Norfolk. Another 
sister, Miss Martha Ann Keeling died June 1, 1937. Miss Keeling resided with 
her sister at No. 2 Dunmore Apartments, 319 West Bute Street. She had many 
friends.
Services will be held at the chapel of H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 
Colonial Avenue, tomorrow at 12 o'clock, noon, with the Rev. Moultrie Guerry, 
rector of Old St. Paul's Church, officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood.
