Funeral services for Miss Rosa Keemer of 1407 Turner street were conducted June 
7 at First Calvary Baptist Church by the pastor, the Rev. C. E. Griffin.  Miss 
Keemer died Tuesday June 2 in a local hospital at the age of 62.

A native of Kelford, NC, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Mrs. Lillie 
Keemer.  She was a member of the Eastern Star and United Order of Tents.

She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Lillie Askew of Norfolk, Mrs. Dorothy 
Frazier of Bridgeport, CT, and Mrs. Maggie Raby of Brooklyn, NY;  five nephews 
and three nieces.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
