Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Jane Keener Todd of Arcadia, Calif., a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Foster of West Palm Beach, Fla., a brother, Sidney C. Keener of Cooperstown, N.Y., director of the Baseball Hall of Fame, and two grandchildren. Mr. Keener was a sales representative for Rainbow Dresses of New York City until the time of his illness. He was a native of St. Louis, but had lived in Norfolk many years, lately at 105 Elwood Ave. The body was taken to H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments. A funeral service will be conducted at the grave in St. Mary’s Cemetery Saturday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Frank L. Rose, Jr., rector of the Episcopal Church of the Ascension.
