Virginian Pilot January 14, 1988

Virginia Whitcomb Keeter, 74, of the 2000 block of Lone Pine Road, a retired 
medical secretary, died Jan. 13, 1988, in an Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Keeter, a native of Norfolk, was the widow of Fred E. Keeter.  She had 
retired from Norfolk Diagnostic Clinic.  She was a member of Francis Asbury 
United Methodist Church, Tidewater Association of Medical Assistants and After 
Five Christian Women's Club.
Survivors include a brother, Spurgeon C. Wilson, of Pompano Beach, Fla.; four 
grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Graham Funeral Home, South 
Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Frank D. James.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery 
in Norfolk. 
The family will be at the residence and at the funeral home from 7 to 8 today.
