She was a lifelong resident of Norfolk, a daughter of John T. and Mrs. Mary Carnahan Scarborough, and the widow of Nelson O. Keeter. She was a member of Elizabeth River Baptist Church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. John K. Hathaway of Norfolk, Mrs. Alex Warren Jr. of Winter Haven, Fla., and Mrs. Charles E. Kutcher of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; a sister, Mrs. A. S. Grinalds of Macon, Ga.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted in Francis A. Gay Funeral home, Chesapeake, Friday at noon by the Rev. W.C. Hoffman of St. Bride's Episcopal Church. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
