Kegebein, 81 years old, died suddenly at his home, 626 Church Street, Saturday afternoon, at 1:35 o'clock. Mr. Kegebein was born in Germany, and had lived in this city for about 39 years. For more than 25 years he conducted a furniture business in Norfolk. He was a member of the Knights of Golden Eagles and of the Orinoco Tribe No. 79, I.O.R.M. He is survived by two sons, J.H. and J.T. Kegebein and nine grandchildren of this city. The funeral will take place this afternoon at 4 o'clock from the Cumberland Street Methodist Church, of which the deceased was for many years a member and will be conducted by Rev. W.E. Thompson. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
