NORFOLK - Charles Frederick Kegebein, 83, of 409 North Shore Road, died Monday 
in his home.
He was a lifelong resident of Norfolk and was the husband of the late Elizabeth 
Brumsey Kegebein. He had retired from Norfolk Naval Air Station as a supervisor 
of airplane equipment.
Kegebein was a member of Christ and St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Ruth Lodge 89, 
Scottish Rite Bodies, John Walters Royal Arch Chapter 68 and Khedive Temple.
Survivors include a sister, Lillian Mae Kegebein of Norfolk; and four 
grandchildren, Cynthia Dawn Camp, Forrest Gregory Camp and Davis Raymond Camp, 
all of Virginia Beach, and Valerie Diane Hinshaw of San Rafael, Calif.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Elmwood Cemetery by 
the Rev. James B. Samuel Jr.
The family will be at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, from 7 to 8:30 
p.m. Thursday.
