Virginian-Pilot November 29, 1946
Mrs. Frances Black Kellam, wife of H. H. Kellam, Sr., and daughter of the late E. 
and Alice Moore Black, died at an Albemarle, N.C., hospital Tuesday morning at 
8:15 o'clock. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, R. Leslie and H. 
H. Kellam, Jr.; a sister, Mrs. Ethel B. Alexander, of Alexandria, and three 
brothers, William M. Black of Augusta, Ga,: G. Wallace and James L. Black, both of 
Norfolk. Mrs. Kellam was a native of Norfolk and had been a resident of Biscoe, 
N.C., for the past 20 years.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Saturday 
morning at 11 o'clock. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
