Kellam, wife of Mrs. A.P. Kellam (not Linwood L. Kellam, as erroneously reported yesterday), arrived yesterday evening by the New York, Philadelphia and Norfolk Railroad, and were at once conveyed to the residence of Mr. J.R. Pettis, father of the deceased, No. 167 Boush Street. From the residence the funeral took place at 10 o’clock this morning, and was attended by a large number of friends and acquaintances. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. T.G. Jones, D.D., of the First (Cumberland Street) Baptist Church, assisted by Rev. A.S. Lloyd, of St. Luke’s P.E. Church. The floral offerings were numerous and tasteful, and evidenced the esteem in which the deceased was held. The remains were interred in the family lot in Elmwood Cemetery. The following young gentleman being pall- bearers: Messrs. H.K. Bell, Edward E. Salyer, Charles Tyree, Jas Williams, Edward Dozier, and T.F. Ferguston.
