Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, January 13, 1991
Maggie Crandall Kelley, of the 2800 block of Hollister Ave., died Jan. 10, 1991,
in a hospital.

Mrs. Kelley, a native of Leechville, N.C., retired from Norfolk public schools
after 44 years. She was a member of New Calvary Baptist Church, Zeta Phi Beta
Sorority, Broad Creek Civic League and Leisure Hour Club.

She was a graduate of Virginia State College and earned her master's degree from
Columbia University. She was past Matron Alelide Ward Chapter of Order of the
Eastern Star. She was the widow of Archie Kelley.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in New Calvary Baptist Church
by the Rev. G.G. Campbell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will be
from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Riddick Funeral Service. The body will be placed in
the church at 10 a.m. Monday. A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the
funeral home.
