Virginian-Pilot  October 16, 1914
Patrick Kelley died Wednesday evening at his home at Cape Henry after several 
months’ illness. He was 49 years old. He was a native of Norfolk and a former 
member of the police force. He is survived by his wife and two daughters, Misses 
Margaret and Katherine Kelley, and a son, John Kelley, all of Cape Henry. Saturday 
morning at 10 o’clock, the body will be taken from the home of Mrs. Kelley’s 
sister, Mrs. M. E. Capps, 1821 Highland avenue, to St. Mary’s Catholic church for 
funeral services. The interment will be in St. Mary’s cemetery.
