Blake Road died Wednesday in a hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Norfolk and was a retired painter. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. A.B. Daughtrey, Mrs. J.R. Hooper and Mrs. John S. Mahon, all of Norfolk, and several nieces and nephews. A Joyful Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at 11 .a.m. Friday in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church by the Rev. Thomas B. Nee. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery with H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, in charge.
